Charles Byers (Author) Charles Byers taught at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in the carpentry department for 12 years, where he created numerous innovative adult continuing education programs for carpentry, historic building preservation, apprenticeship instruction and electrical technology. He established and now teaches in a new residential remodeling department at the college, covering all facets of building, remodeling and maintenance of residential buildings.
